About Tonio Reiser
Tonio Reiser studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University Darmstadt, which provided him with a broad technical background. Subsequently, he received a scholarship from the French government and studied European and French patent and trademark law at the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI), from where he graduated with a French diploma. Tonio Reiser passed the German and European patent attorney examination. He is licensed to practice law before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Community trademarks and Community designs) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (PCT applications, international trademark registration). Tonio Reiser represents our clients before the Federal Patent Court of Germany and, in all patent issues, before the German Federal Court of Justice. He is also registered as a qualified representative before the French Patent Office (INPI).
Having worked in industrial property protection for over 15 years, Tonio Reiser has extensive experience in the field. He first gained professional experience by working for several years in the patent law firm Keil & Schaafhausen in Frankfurt. During the following phase of his professional career Tonio Reiser worked as a patent attorney in the patent and trademark department of the Freudenberg Group, a company with a turnover of more than five billion euros. In 1999, he set up the patent law firm Reiser, which today serves reputable clients from Germany and abroad in the field of patent, trademark and design law.
Tonio Reiser also has extensive experience in numerous patent and trademark infringement and nullity proceedings.
